Explore the artistry of black and white photography in the heart of Minato Mirai during our upcoming workshop. Starting amidst the historic docks, participants will delve into capturing captivating geometric compositions inherent in the urban landscape.
As the workshop progresses, we'll shift our focus to Zounohana park, unraveling the visually stunning geometric patterns that abound in this unique setting. The journey culminates at Osanbashi pier, offering a panoramic view that serves as a fitting canvas for attendees to master the art of black and white photography, emphasising the interplay of light, shadow, and intricate geometries in these iconic locations.
Join me for a day of exploration, creativity, and the timeless allure of monochrome imagery.
*This workshop is designed as a one-to-one experience, but private bookings for up to four people are available. The first participant is $135, and each additional participant is charged at 50% of the standard workshop rate.
*Hotel pickup incurs an additional charge of $30

Starting Point:
We’ll kick off in Minato Mirai, uncovering a few hidden gems and incorporating scenes from the historic docks.
Next Stop:
Our journey continues to Nihonodori, where we’ll explore the surreal landscapes of Zounohana Park.
Final Destination:
A short walk from the park brings us to Osanbashi Pier, where we’ll dive into its striking architecture and unique design for our final photographic exploration.

• Comfortable shoes
• A smartphone or entry-level camera
• Fully charged battery (100% recommended)
• No tripod needed
• Suica or Pasmo card for metro travel, if possible

• 18-55mm zoom lens (for crop sensor) or similar prime lens
• 24-70mm zoom lens (for full-frame) or comparable primes
• iPhones and other smartphones work just fine too
